The Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Basic Needs program aims to assist students with navigating on-campus and community resources as related to basic needs such as housing, food, medical care, transportation, and more. Fulfilling basic needs is a key component in achieving educational success. 

This Basic Needs web page includes a resource guide for students to check out what college and community programs may be available to assist them. Specific details about each resource may change, so checking in with each program to get up to date information is encouraged.

Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº Student Ride Free!

Getting to class, work, shopping, or around town just got easier. Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº students can ride Tuolumne County transit fixed route buses free with a valid Columbia College student ID. 

How it works:

  1. Get on the bus, use any regularly scheduled Tuolumne County Transit Fixed Route
  2. Show your student ID, present your Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº student ID to the driver when you board
  3. Ride FREE, no fare or transit pass needed!

Where can the transit take you?

Connect to destinations throughout the Tuolumne County transit fixed route system, including Columbia, Sonora, Jamestown, and other communities and destinations. Just show your valid Âé¶¹Ó°Ôº student ID and ride.

Dial-A-Ride fares are not included.
